Governor-General plea
THE tribunal decided on a resounding yes and the masterful politicians have said no. I believe the Australian public would like this decision to be vetoed and the medal awarded. What power does the GovernorGeneral have? A fine military man, and a General of the Australian Army. I wonder if a whispered word in the ear would settle the matter in the affirmative. Let us pray that justice will be done for Teddy Sheean who in a moment decided to give his life for his shipmates and for this nation.
