Ease up on motorhomers
I AM so pleased we are now able to travel the state, but I’m disheartened that motorhomers and caravaners are disadvantaged by councils closing free-stay and low-cost areas because of owners wanting people to use their parks. A lot are more cabin than caravan parks and a lot can’t accommodate bigger vehicles so where do they go?
If this keeps happening, business will be lost because people can’t afford to stay in caravan parks for their entire holiday. Most like to explore the area but if there isn’t a place to stay that isn’t too costly they will move on, so won’t be buying coffees, counter meals, groceries or tours.
Just because we own these vehicles doesn’t mean endless bank accounts so we are on relatively tight budgets. It seems
