TAB brings outer states into fold
TAB account customers in Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory can access new products, live US sport and exclusive promotions.
Among the highlights of the new TAB offering (available now) are same-game multis, flexi betting, new vision such as US sports and extra tote products, including Big 6 and early quaddie.
TAB has also rolled out a Venue Mode function for punters betting digitally in TAB venues. Venue Mode is a recent innovation that gives punters betting in agencies, pub and club TABs and racecourses exclusive offers and promotions.
Customers can access their new home ground for betting through the updated version of the app or by logging on to the website. TAB staff can guide people through the process where assistance is required.
“As well as bringing punters new products and a better customer experience, this change will set the foundation for future improvements and products to be rolled out across our entire account customer base subject to regulatory approval,” a spokesman for the TAB said.
While Venue Mode is now active across the TAB network, other new features and products will be extended to nonaccount-based betting in retail outlets over time.
“In line with its vision to be the trusted gambling entertainment company, TAB has placed enhanced responsible gambling tools across all our jurisdictions including the Take a Break function, which allows customers to quickly and easily place a block on their account via the app or website,” the company said.
“We are pleased to have successfully completed the work to turn TAB into a new home ground for punters in Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory from today onwards,” Tabcorp’s Adam Rytenskild said.
