Q: INTO THE STORM
Fox Showcase 112, 8.30pm
In October 2017, an anonymous user put a series of posts on the message board 4chan and claimed to have a level of US security approval known as “Q clearance”. The messages would come to be known as “Q drops” and were often peppered with pro-Trump themes, and alas, QAnon was born. The six-part series examines the connections between QAnon, former US president Donald Trump, and political and ex-military operatives. In tonight’s premiere, documentary filmmaker Cullen Hoback sets out to demystify the origins of QAnon, understand its mechanics and search for clues that could identify Q. Join him as he travels to South Africa and uncovers a suspicious shift in Q’s behaviour.

The 2019-20
Australian bushfire season, colloquially known as Black Summer, resulted in the loss of 2448 homes, countless facilities and outbuildings, and damaged a further 1013 homes. Some of the farms ravaged were founded by returned servicemen after World War II as part of a nationwide repatriation scheme called the War Service Land Settlement Scheme. This one-hour documentary chronicles some of the remarkable tales of returned veterans and their families who set out to create farms and communities across the undeveloped western end of Kangaroo Island. It also includes revealing interviews with some of the surviving soldier settlers including Ivy Wooton, who arrived on the Island with her husband Tom.
