Time for the world to stand up to China

-

WE shot a rocket in the air, it fell to Earth we know not where. Is this just something else China is going to get away with? The “what if” scenarios that could be attached to this question would fill multitudinous volumes.

Firstly it was their deceit towards the world regarding the coronavirus, and now 3.28 million people are dead. Second was their trade coercion of Australia in an attempt to destroy our economy, simply for us having the audacity to demand an independent inquiry into their deceit.

Now there’s their multi ton rocket crashing uncontrolled back to earth, luckily somewhere in the Indian Ocean. What with all the other things China is doing in the South China Sea, why is the rest of the world sitting back letting it happen?

Australia admittedly is taking a hard line, but China is still crying that it’s all our fault; it couldn’t possibly be the fault of their spotless communist party. Perhaps it’s time for the world’s leaders as a whole to stand up to China and say enough is enough. Show a bit of backbone for a change, before that country completely dominates the planet, because that is precisely what is happening. Roy Baker Kingston
