Bachelor star’s real estate licence fight goes on

-

A DECISION is yet to be made on whether or not Bachelor in Paradise star Conor Canning will be able to continue working as a real estate agent.

The reality TV personality appeared briefly before Magistrate Chris Webster on Tuesday in a civil case, as he has appealed the previous decision of the Property Agents’ Tribunal cancelling his licence.

A court was previously told Mr Canning admitted to stealing intellectual property from his former employer Ray White and lying to the industry’s regulatory board.

Mr Canning and his personal assistant Joel Solak admitted to stealing the database and sending it to a financial adviser, tribunal lawyer Craig Mackie told the court hearing in June. Mr Canning has not been charged with any criminal wrongdoing.

On Tuesday Mr Webster said it would be “a bit rude” to give too much consideration to making a decision without hearing the submissions and details in their entirety. “I reserve my decision,” he said.

The case was adjourned for a yet to be determined date.
