YOUNG MUSCLE UP FOR PFIZER

- ANNIE MCCANN

SAM Hall, 18, got his first Pfizer jab as the coronavirus vaccine availability opens up to 16-29-year-olds this week in ramped-up rollout efforts. The university student has been keen to get the jab for a while.

“I’m more scared of giving (coronavirus) to other people like parents or grandparents,” he said. He encouraged others to go through the “straightforward” procedure.

About 443,000 doses have been administered in Tasmania.

“Our schools program is continuing across the state, with a clinic at Hobart College this week and Rosny College starting on September 9,” he said. “The program will also move to the North and North-West, with more information available soon. “Vaccination clinics on the West Coast are also being finalised, with Queenstown on September 9 and 10 at the Memorial Hall, Strahan on September 16 and 17 at the golf club, and Zeehan the week after.”
