Additions to high profile ranks of advocacy group
OLYMPIAN Nicole Livingstone (inset) was among the almost 200 new members admitted to Australia’s leading advocacy group, Chief Executive Women.
Ms Livingstone, who won swimming medals at three Olympic Games, is now general manager of women’s football at the AFL.
She joins more than 800 women in the group led by president and well-known board director Sam Mostyn.
The list of 194 new members includes Tasmanian governor Barbara Baker, CSIRO’s chief scientist Catherine Foley and E-Safety Commissioner Julie Inman Grant. Ms Mostyn said that women leaders had played an influential role during the pandemic and an extraordinary year.
“During Covid we have seen so many women leading much of the country’s response and supporting their many communities,” she said.
