LABOR DEFUNCT
Historical evidence shows there have been over 135 defunct political parties in Australian political history and almost twice that number of deregistered parties across all states including Tasmania. This suggests these parties failed to meet their basic charter of serving the communities they represented or didn’t have community support.
Given their recent implosion and ongoing shenanigans, it may be time to consider deregistering the Tasmanian Labor Party as it appears they are now incapable of functioning as a workable political entity. There is little they are contributing to the community at a time when we need focused, astute and deliberate actions to address the critical issues facing all Tasmanians today. We need change and we need it now.
