NO MAJOR BLOW FOR BARTEL

INFLUENCER and former AFL WAG Nadia Bartel is expected to be issued with a hefty fine in the coming days after a video emerged showing her snorting what appears to be cocaine at an illegal gathering.

Victoria Police on Sunday confirmed the 36-year-old had spoken with police.

A $5452 fine can be issued in Victoria for anyone found breaching rules about gatherings in the home. Bartel was holed up at her Melbourne home over the weekend amid the fallout over the video, which was reportedly posted accidentally by a friend.

Wellness brand JSHealth, for which Bartel was an ambassador, has dumped her.

The company was “shocked’’ and “disappointed’’ at the video.

Rather than losing the support of her fans, Bartel has gained 5000 new Instagram followers since Thursday, with a host of big names “liking” her apology on Instagram
