SHORT-CHANGED

I SYMPATHISE with the residents of Sorell and the East Coast about to lose their Westpac branch (Mercury September 4). Here in New Town we once had a MyState branch, with friendly – and busy – staff. Then one day it simply vanished. It has been replaced with a pizza joint and a cigarette shop. Wow. Aren’t we lucky?
