ROO’S NEW DEAL

NORTH Melbourne key defender Josh Walker has inked a one-year contract extension for 2022 after a second solid season at the Kangaroos.

Walker, who finished seventh in North Melbourne’s best and fairest count last year, played 21 of a possible 22 games this year and ranked above average across the competition for one-on-one contests.

The new contract will take the 28year-old into a third season at North Melbourne.

“Josh has provided us with flexibility and durability in his time with us,” football boss Brady Rawlings said.
