TWO players have been slapped with hefty match bans after a review into the Old Scholars grand final between OHA and St Virgils.

Ships premiership player Ray Hill will miss six games for an incident that left Saints playing-coach Jaye Bowden concussed and unable to continue after halftime.

Saints player Trad Duggan will miss four matches for rough conduct against Hill in the third quarter, which left the OHA player concussed and unable to continue playing.

St Virgils is considering appealing against the long suspension of Hill.
