MAN FIGHTS CHILD ABUSE MATERIAL CHARGES
A COLLINSVALE man facing federal child abuse material charges has indicated he will fight the allegations in the Supreme Court of Tasmania.
Colin James Lightfoot, 61, faced the Hobart Magistrates Court on Tuesday, where he pleaded not guilty to charges including five counts of using a carriage service for child abuse material, possessing or controlling child abuse material obtained or accessed using a carriage service, and one count of possessing a bestiality product.
Mr Lightfoot, who is on bail, will appear in the Supreme Court on November 15.
He was charged in February after an investigation by the Tasmanian Joint AntiChild Exploitation Team, including Australian Federal Police and Tasmania Police.
