We go to the cinema most Sundays, so (in lockdown) have compensated with bingeing on The Durrells. We have come to it rather late but are enjoying it immensely. In 1973 we spent three weeks in Corfu, which is later than when The Durrells is set, but the zeitgeist seems to be much the same. And what a powerful statement for the benefits of a liberal education.
