Scott looking for victory in hot field

Australian golfer Adam Scott was looking in good shape after the partially completed opening round of the BMW Championship at Wentworth. Scott shot a seven-under 65 to be one shot behind the early leaders. The man tipped to win pre-tournament was Norwegian sensation Viktor Hovland, who finished tied for fifth in last week’s prestigious Tour Championship. Hovland had a topsy-turvy opening with four birdies and four bogeys, to give himself some work to do.
