PARKING PAIN

IN response to the Lord Mayor of Hobart on parking incentives, it is akin to putting a Band-Aid on a broken leg. Covid is not stopping locals coming to the city, it is the 42 per cent increase to metered parking to $5 an hour that is the problem. Public perception of the affordability of a visit to Hobart is at an all-time low. Meaningful permanent changes need to be made to save Hobart traders.
