DETAILS of latest versions of the most popular smartphone in Australia are expected to be available today but prospective buyers may be in for a price shock.

Apple was tipped to reveal four new iPhone models overnight, with the handsets having new cameras, more storage and better screens, but potentially higher prices.

New Apple Watches and redesigned AirPods were also expected but it was uncertain when they would go on sale .
