Lyon, Grant to present

TWO forward greats will present the premiership cup next week regardless of whether Melbourne or Western Bulldogs comes out on top.

The Demons and Bulldogs have nominated club champions Garry Lyon and Chris Grant, respectively, to hand over the cup if they win in the September 25 grand final.

They are team of the century members and ex-captains, as well as Victorian representatives in State of Origin games. Grant is the Dogs’ football boss and his daughter Isabella plays for in AFLW team.

Lyon played 226 games, kicked 426 goals for Melbourne from 1986 to 1999 and captained the Demons 119 times.
