Probe on fatal flight
AN inquest into the death of pilot Nikita Walker has been set down for late November.
Ms Walker, 30, died in December 2018 when her twinengine Par Avion aircraft crashed during bad weather into a mountain near Federation Peak in the Southwest National Park.
Originally from Queensland, Ms Walker, above, moved to Tasmania to further her career as a commercial pilot.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau, which investigated the cause of the crash, said the plane was destroyed by the impact.
