Illness strikes Demons

Melbourne officials are confident coach Simon Goodwin will be back at work on Saturday after being forced into isolation a week out from the AFL grand final with a mystery illness.

Goodwin missed an open training session on Friday and a press conference after falling ill with gastro-like symptoms.

Assistant coach Troy Chaplin revealed both Goodwin and assistant Adem Yze were isolating at their hotel.
