MORE than half (58 per cent) of Gen Z Australian­s would rather spend three days without food than four hours without the internet.

The study also found 64 per cent of those born between 1995 and 2010 believe that within the next four years, the internet will determine what they will do each day. It also discovered 56 per cent of Gen Z is friends with someone they only know online. The WP Engine-commission­ed survey concluded Gen Z had never drawn a distinctio­n between the physical and digital world. “You can seamlessly move between each,” the study read.
