Men charged over thefts

POLICE have charged two men in relation to two incidents of burglary, stealing and motor vehicle stealing on the North-West Coast between August and September.

Detectives and uniformed officers searched a Mawbanna property on Monday and recovered several ATVs, chainsaws, and hand and power tools.

The 19-year-old and 20year-old man from Mawbanna were bailed to appear before the Burnie Magistrates Court on November 30.

Detectives are seeking information to locate a white 1995 Nissan Patrol flat tray ute with the registration R54046. Contact 6477 7291 with information.
