ACTON HOUSE FIRE DESTROYS VEHICLES

A FIRE, believed to have been deliberately lit, has destroyed two vehicles and damaged a house in Acton over the weekend.

Police said emergency services were called to two vehicles on fire in the backyard of a property on Nelson St early Saturday morning.

Both vehicles were destroyed and a nearby house and fence were damaged as a result of the blaze.

Fire investigators later determined the fire was deliberately lit.

Police ask anyone with dashcam footage or information in relation to suspicious activity in the area about 2.15am Saturday is asked to contact police.
