GAMBLING DANGERS

It beggars belief that the Federal Group should insist that the Tasmanian economy cannot survive without its gambling monopoly continuing. Conversely, I would put it that the reliance on gambling tax has actually held the state back. Gambling has been the ruin of many a family and there lies a tragedy that seems ever forgotten.
