FIRST time I’ve agreed with Greg Barns (Mercury, September 27). Greg’s explanation makes so much sense and is fair! A $500 fine hurts differently applied to pensioners, council labourers or politicians! The Netherlands are the smart country, their income is linked to the fine. Bravo, Greg!
