GEELONG has appointed three-time premiershipwinning former star James Kelly to the club’s coaching staff for next year.

Kelly, who played 273 games with the Cats, had previously worked as an assistant coach at Essendon.

“I’m excited to come back to the club, to a place I love and be able to contribute,” Kelly said.
