HOW sad that our government can decide so readily to acquire nuclear submarines based on the highly speculativ­e notion that these war machines will ensure our continued peace in our world. This is while the government has spent years in a catatonic state, unable to come to a decision to act on climate change that has been clearly and scientific­ally shown to be a threat to our very existence.
