Hibs stint fuels Socceroo’s fire

A SUCCESSFUL training stint with Scottish Premiership side Hibernian has Sydney FC and Socceroos defender Rhyan Grant open to joining an overseas club.

Rather than return home and spend two weeks in quarantine after the Socceroos’ World Cup qualifiers on foreign soil against China and Vietnam earlier this month, Grant elected to remain abroad – with permission from Sydney – to prepare for Australia’s matches next month against Oman and Japan.
