TEENS CHARGED AFTER BURGLARY SPREE
THREE teenagers have been charged with a total of more than 40 offences after an alleged burglary spree in Tasmania’s North-West.
Tasmania Police said a search of a Somerset property on Wednesday resulted in the arrests of a 13-year-old and 15year-old who were later charges with 30 offences in total.
Action will also be taken against a third teenager, a 15year-old, for 11 related offences, police said.
The alleged burglary and property offences relate to a local sporting club, multiple businesses, a vehicle and an housing construction site.
Property from one of the alleged burglaries was recovered, but police have appealed to the public for more information.
