Shop trolleys worse than plastic bags

IT is great to hear Woolies stores are going to trial removing the 15c bags from their stores, but what about their shopping trolleys?

Shopping trolleys are creating more litter than the plastic bags. It doesn’t matter where you go, they are lying all over the footpaths, on the roadways and clogging up our waterways.

They must cost big dollars to repair or replace, and do not get me started on those trolleys with the big flat spots on their wheels, which go clonk, clonk, clonk as you push them down the aisle! Kelvin Ball
