MUM’S DOING WELL
THE information in “Aged care meal dismay” (Mercury, September 30) is at odds with my experience of Fairway Rise aged care home. My mother is a resident and I visit her every day. Mum talks fondly of staff who are kind, attentive and caring. The home is clean and warm, with menus offering many choices. Mum often comments about the good quality, enjoyable meals. I know if I had concerns about Mum’s care I would feel comfortable approaching staff, confident they would work to sensitively resolve it. Rosie Crumpton-Crook
