APPLAUD? SURELY NOT

THE Mercury (Editorial, October 4) suggests applause for Gladys. What for? The Ruby Princess? Not locking down fast enough, unleashing Delta so we “have to live it”? The NSW people aren’t applauding trains that don’t fit in tunnels, or ferries that don’t fit under bridges, or ruin of a stadium, or sale of public assets at mates rates. Gladys resigned due to a claim of corruption.
