Rockers change gig date

-

AUSSIE rock stalwarts Hoodoo Gurus have added a new Hobart date to their national tour with US 90s alt-rockers the Dandy Warhols.

Hoodoo Gurus front man Dave Faulkner said “Delta skelter” had put the brakes on their 40th Anniversary Tour, with postponed show dates announced on Wednesday.

“We had high hopes earlier in the year that the pandemic would be behind us by now,” he said.

The tour originally slated for December will instead kick off in April in Perth.

The Hobart show, which was included in the original tour, is scheduled for April 9 at Hobart City Hall.

Portland garage rock fourpiece the Dandy Warhols will perform as a support act during the tour. Tickets for the Hobart show go on sale on Friday at 10am via oztix.com.au
