Dangerous driving case in court

A YOUNG man from the Huon Valley has faced court charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm by dangerous driving following an alleged serious road crash at Fern Tree.

Liam Geoffrey Murray-Bell, 20, faced the Hobart Magistrates Court on Tuesday but did not enter a plea, following the alleged incident in July last year. Mr Murray-Bell’s lawyer said he was still awaiting medical evidence.

Magistrate Michael Daly adjourned the case, with the Grove resident to return to court on December 6.

The Mercury previously reported that a 19-year-old woman was flung through the windscreen of a Holden Commodore ute in the early hours of July 19 last year.
