Day at the crossroads
FORMER world number one Jason Day has conceded he could be at a career crossroads as he battles mental demons and a problematic back ahead of his US PGA Tour return in Las Vegas, courtesy of a sponsor’s invitation.
Day hasn’t won anywhere since 2018 and slipped to 79 on the world rankings as he battled a mixture of poor form and injury problems.
Starting on Thursday, the prestigious 78-man CJ Cup in Las Vegas will be his first event in nearly two months.
He will be guaranteed four rounds at the no-cut event.
