CHEERS TO ‘DOUBLE DOSE’

DARKLAB has a reward waiting for those who have received the Covid-19 jab and a desperate message for those who haven’t.

The team behind Dark Mofo, In The Hanging Garden and other Tasmanian arts ventures has propped up a prominent and mysterious QR code on the old Jetty Surf building, with the message “get your double dose”.

Those who scan the code will score an offer of two drinks for the price of one at In The Hanging Garden on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but only if they’ve received both doses of their coronavirus vaccine.

DarkLab spokesman Raef Sawford encouraged immunised people to keep checking in at the site, which doubles as a community vaccination clinic on the corner of Elizabeth St and Liverpool St for more double dose two-for-one deals.

“The arts industry is struggling across Australia, many artists and organisations are hanging by a thread,” Mr Sawford said.

“It is critical that we get back to unrestricted full venue capacity as soon as possible.”
