Face the truth over election loss

-

WHILE outgoing Prime Minister Scott Morrison spent his day in church crying over spilt milk, and poor leadership qualities, a number of senior members of his defeated party displayed a total lack of political nous when coming up with ridiculous reasons for the defeat.

To believe you lost because you didn’t adopt the policies of your opponents is beyond any form of reasoning.

Why would you win with an unpopular leader, who delegated leadership of the country to similarly unpopular state leaders, during the Covid pandemic, reneged on necessary dam construction, blaming the states, allowed climate change to gain momentum during floods and bushfires that have created havoc for time immemorial, rather than stand up with the truth on lack of government action on preventive measures, such as levees, dams and clearing.

You lost because you offered nothing that would improve the overall lifestyle of the community.

What is the greatest concern of the people you purport to represent? Simple, it’s cost of living, all impacted by fuel costs for transport, electricity costs and high taxes, necessary because we are not taking advantage of what should be – the public ownership of our unlimited resources.

Billionaires parade the world stage with money made from what should belong to everyone.

As much as he is hated, perhaps the only political aspirant to put forward anything that would claim some of these profits for the masses was billionaire Clive Palmer.

Until you accept the truth, and prosecute candidates capable of offering alternatives to your opponents, then you will continue on your downhill spiral, while the country enters a non recoverable position on unprecedented debt.
