WILDLIFE, LAND GRANT
The Federal Government has given Northern Agricultural Catchments Council $9,525,839.
The money will help save threatened species malleefowl, scaly-leaved featherflower and regionally extinct mammals.
It will additionally support the smarter farms project, which encourages farmers to improve how they use land.
Money has also been invested to protect Ningaloo Coast and Shark Bay World Heritage.
The funding is part of a $450 million Australian Government spend on regional land management.
