Cherry and chorizo tapas

Com­bine ca­sual Mediter­ranean spirit with fresh tasty cher­ries to en­joy this spe­cial sum­mer treat. Prepa­ra­tion 10 min­utes Cook­ing 5 min­utes Serves 2 In­gre­di­ents 2 chorizo sausages 1 clove gar­lic, crushed 2 tsp olive oil 1 tsp finely diced lemon rind 1 tbsp finely chopped con­ti­nen­tal pars­ley 200g freshly pit­ted cher­ries (seeds re­moved) Method Cut the sausages into 1cm-thick slices. Heat the oil in a fry­ing pan and gen­tly cook the sausages un­til crisp on both sides. When the sausages are cooked, add gar­lic, cher­ries, lemon rind and pars­ley. Quickly cook, stir­ring con­stantly. Serve im­me­di­ately with slices of thick bread, a fresh crisp green salad with tomato wedges and other tapas dishes.
