A CULT OF CRUELTY & VIOLENCE

The Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) is a spiritualist Ugandan rebel group with no clear political agenda that originated in 1987. According to a 2016 report in the journal Conflict and Health, the LRA has been responsible for the abduction of at least 20,000 children and the displacement of more than 1.9 million people in Northern Uganda. The movement exists to this day, and despite decades of international attempts to capture its leader, Joseph Kony, he remains in hiding.
