Taking a regular afternoon nap may be linked to better mental agility, suggests research published in General Psychiatry. The researcher­s found that people who took a nap after lunch of between 5 minutes and 2 hours (and had around 6.5 hours of night-time sleep) had better locational awareness, verbal fluency and working memory than those who didn’t nap.
