Mt Wilga Pri­vate Hos­pi­tal cel­e­brates 65 years!

On Wed­nes­day 7th Novem­ber, 2018 Mt Wilga Pri­vate Hos­pi­tal held their 65th An­niver­sary Open Day. The hos­pi­tal was open to the pub­lic with tours and in­for­ma­tion stands as well as a for­mal af­ter­noon tea with VIP guests from the com­mu­nity. Mt Wilga wel­comed as their key­note speaker, Aus­tralian Sergeant and In­vic­tus Games multi-medal­list, Garry Robin­son, a for­mer pa­tient who told his story and how Mt Wilga has helped his re­cov­ery. Ju­lian Leeser, Fed­eral MP of Berowra also at­tended and con­ducted the Un­veil­ing of the plaque for the re-nam­ing of the Eileen Per­rot­tet Ther­apy and Well­ness Cen­tre. This mem­o­rable event hon­ours Miss Per­rot­tet, for­mer Phys­io­ther­a­pist of Mt Wilga who was in­stru­men­tal in the de­vel­op­ment of the Par­a­lympic move­ment in Aus­tralia. She joins oth­ers recog­nised for their role in bring­ing sport as part of re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion, in­clud­ing Dr John Grant and Mr Kevin Betts. Mt Wilga would like to thank all guests who at­tended the 65th An­niver­sary; it was a very spe­cial day!
