S4P Bike Park
The three top pros building their own riding spot in the heart of Surrey
Another new bike park is about to hit the UK scene. But this one’s a bit different. While most of the trail centres and uplift venues popping up across the country are in areas with elevation and terrain ideal for mountain biking, this latest arrival is located in the less-than-mountainous south of England. The S4P (sorry for partying) Bike Park is the brainchild of World Cup downhill racer Brendan Fairclough, slopestyler Sam Reynolds and DMR’s very own Olly Wilkins.“It’s early days and we can’t give out too much information, but what I can say is that I’ve just spent the past five days with Bren, Sam and a select few trail bosses building what’s gonna be one of the best public dirt spots in the country,” says Olly.
All three have grown up enjoying the fruits of long days building dirt jumps and pump tracks in their native Surrey. So when the opportunity to build their own bike park in Milford catering to jumping and pumping came up, they jumped at the chance. They may be some of the best riders out there, but the trio are aiming to make a park that all kinds of riders can enjoy.“We’ll have lines for all abilities and ages, as well as a killer pump track,” says Olly.
Further information is still thin on the ground at this stage, but expect news of the official opening in the coming months. For now, you can follow their progress at www.instagram.com/s4p_bikepark.
