I’ve also met alpine guides who are planning to use them – they make long days spent guiding punters less of a strain, lessening the risk of injury. I was over 17st and lost 2st in no time when I got riding. These things should be for specific trails only. Otherwise, it makes strenuous riding too easy. Considering the nation’s obesity problems, this is the last thing lazy folk need – another excuse to avoid exercise.
