HORNER TEA GARDENS

Horner Tea Gardens (01643 862380) at the start/finish is worth hanging on for if you can manage. It offers good portions, friendly service and lovely gardens suitable for hungry MTBers and their bikes. There’s a choice of refreshments, such as coffee, paninis, etc, but most importantly, the cream tea is superb. There’s another tea room in Horner, and one in Lynch too, on the route. Both are good.
