COME RAIN OR SHINE

-

Two bike park jump jams, two contrasting settings, but one common purpose – ripping on bikes and having fun!

Pictured above is William Robert slinging it sideways in the dust and sun of France’s EVO Bike Park, and on the right is Sam Hockenhull getting loose in the dank and rainy woods of Wales’s Revolution Bike Park.

Situated in the balmy Côte d’Azur region, EVO Bike Park is a popular winter haunt for many of Europe’s top freeriders. At the 2018 edition of their annual jam, the park’s monster jump lines played host to an adrenalinefuelled weekend of berm blasting, whipping and flipping, with Andreu Lacondeguy, Louis Reboul and William Robert taking the top honours.

Over in North Wales, the 50to01 jam at Revs was the first of its kind and a proper back-tobasics muck-about for anyone who wanted to get involved. Organised by everyone’s favourite jibbers – Josh ‘Ratboy’ Bryceland, Josh ‘Loosedog’ Lewis and friends – the whole field of riders sessioned di erent spots on the hill together, scoring points for creativity, style and outright gnarliness. The typically British weather did little to dampen spirits, or stop everyone from sending it – especially She eld’s Jake Monk, who wowed the judges all day to win himself a new Santa Cruz.
