RAMPAGE’S WILDEST MOMENTS

Our ive favourite runs from Red Bull Rampage 2018

Mountain Biking UK - - UPLIFT -

Insane, wild, ridiculous… Red Bull Rampage has been the most extreme event in mountain biking since its launch in 2001, and this year was no different. Every autumn, the world’s best freeriders make the pilgrimage to the Utah desert to out-trick and out-gnar each other with runs that link together sketchy ridgelines, steep plummets and huge jumps. The judges base their scoring on four categories – the difficulty of the rider’s line, their tricks and style, fluidity and control, and amplitude and airtime. But they’re not the only ones voicing opinions. Every year, thousands of us become instant experts and take to the internet to slate the official results! While we’re no big-mountain freeride judges, we thought we’d throw our hats in the ring and let you know what impressed us most at this year’s Rampage…

This Rampage rookie’s run may not have been full of tricks but he sent some of the biggest drops and carried impressive speed and style down the whole mountain. We look forward to watching the young Spaniard up his game next year. 1 Adolf Silva going full send
