1

Go left out of the car park, right towards the cafe and then immediately right again, on the ‘Llwybr Llyn - Traws - Lake Path’ trail. Follow this signed track along the edge of the lake, to a gate and road by the power station. Continue straight on.

2

Turn left at the boundary fence, on the road. When the fence ends, continue ahead. Stay beside the lake, keeping left at a fork to stay by the water. Cross the dam and go through a gate on the other side. Keep ahead on a gravel track, which climbs and bears right to a junction. Go left here.

3

Follow the trail/markers, climbing steeply and eventually descending back down to a junction and gate at the bottom. Go straight ahead on the lane, continuing around the edge of the lake. Turn left at the junction, left at the main road (on the cycle path) and then left again at the crossroads, into Trawsfynydd village.

4

Continue ahead, up through the village and down to the main road. Go left on the cycle path. After a layby, follow the cycle signs left, away from the road. Bear right on the cycle path, back alongside the lake (on your left). Turn right at a three-way junction, to the Trawsfynydd cafe. The car park is just beyond this.
