THE BARN
The Barn at Turville Heath (www.thebarnatturvilleheath.com) is a great cafe in a historic barn that’s tucked away, with no vehicular access, and run specifically for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. It prides itself on not just using local products but also home-reared items in its menu, and o ers a good range of hot and cold food and drinks, from snacks and baked goods to sandwiches, burgers and chips. Usefully, it’s halfway around this route.
Otherwise, the Stag & Huntsman pub (www. thestagandhuntsman.co.uk) and Hambleden Village Shop and cafe near the start are both worth stopping at, and there are more great pubs along the route, including The Bull & Butcher in Turville (www. thebullandbutcher.com), which you pass by twice.
